Warehouse Manager

Warehouse Manager Job Purpose: Meets client and company requirements by providing materials, equipment, and supplies by directing receiving, warehousing, and distribution services, supervising staff.

Warehouse Manager Job Duties:

  • Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing operational and personnel policies and procedures.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by monitoring and enforcing security procedures and protocols.
  • Controls inventory levels by conducting physical (cycle) counts; reconciling with warehouse management system.
  • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts based on new business demands; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
  • Supports financial objectives with effective labor and space management, cost reduction and productivity analysis and reporting.
  • Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
  • Maintains warehouse staff by orienting, and training employees.
  • Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
  • Maintains high level customer service by supporting/liaison with Client Relations Team to ensure service commitments, inquiries, reporting and communication in timely and accurate.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  •  Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Client Relations Team - Customer Service Representative

Inside and Outside Sales Positions in both International and Domestic Departments:

Call on current customers and prospective customers. Must have the ability to quote shipments and work with the inside sales force, take orders, and track shipments. We are also looking for someone to grow new territories. We are offering a competitive salary with benefits. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.

  • Ability to coordinate deliveries/pick ups for an asset-based trucking company, direct the loading and unloading trucks and communicate directly with the drivers and customers.
  • Freight Brokerage experience required.
