Call on current customers and prospective customers. Must have the ability to quote shipments and work with the inside sales force, take orders, and track shipments. Freight Broker/Dispatcher
Previous dispatch experience and established carrier base required.
- Solid understanding of current market conditions.
- Great organizational, interpersonal and communications skills a must!
- Ability to gather information and make solid independent decisions.
- Strengthening and growing shipper and carrier relationships to secure and move freight on a daily basis!
- Daily management and coordination of shipments. Ability to track shipments.
- Manage rate and lane negotiations with carriers and identify opportunities to provide additional value to our customers and carriers.
